My parents’ generation loved Frank Sinatra. He was the one that brought romance to an evening for everyone.
Time is going by, and the more things change – the more they stay the same!
My husband and I are so used to listening to the Easy Listening station now because of my parents, so it doesn’t bug us anymore! We are also getting used to the old movies on the channels like TCM.
Well, we are getting closer to 60, so we are not into the contemporary music as much anymore. Still love music from the 70’s and 80’s!
Frank Sinatra was very special. I am not going to try to retell his biography. The resources below have plenty of info for anyone that wants it.
My jaw dropped open the other day when a friend and her daughter (who is in her 20’s) were here, and the daughter had no idea who Jimmy Stewart was. We need to hold on to the great parts of our culture!
Happy Birthday, Frank!
